Al Pacino Joins Star-Studded Cast of ‘Maserati: The Brothers’ Biopic

In an exciting development for movie fans, legendary actor Al Pacino has joined the cast of Maserati: The Brothers, an upcoming biographical sports drama directed by Oscar winner Bobby Moresco (Crash). The film tells the story of the Maserati family and the origins of the iconic Italian luxury car brand.

Pacino will play Vincenzo Vaccaro, an important figure in the Maserati brothers’ journey. He joins a stellar cast that includes Anthony Hopkins as Luca Antonelli, an Italian financier; Andy Garcia as Mr. Rossini; Jessica Alba as Sandra; Michele Morrone as Alfieri Maserati; along with Salvatore Esposito, Gina La Piana, and Tatiana Luter in key roles.

The movie traces the rise of the Maserati family from their humble beginnings in a Bologna garage in 1914 to building one of the world’s most prestigious car manufacturers. Central to the story is Alfieri Maserati, whose tragic accident during the 1927 Messina Cup race deeply impacted the family and brand.

Produced by Andrea Iervolino, filming started in December 2024 at Rome’s Cinecittà Studios with additional scenes shot in Modena and Bologna. The production uses advanced VR and VFX technology to authentically recreate the era.

With its compelling narrative and legendary cast, Maserati: The Brothers is set to captivate audiences worldwide when it releases in 2025.
